Gino Porco

Chief Techology Adviser, MyScreen™, Toronto


As principle founder of MyScreen, Mr. Porco has overseen the development of the company's technology initiatives from planning stage through development and performance testing. Mr. Porco has supervised multiple development teams working on both network development and infrastructure and device applications and technologies, driving the various core offerings of the company.

Previously, Mr. Porco was President of Envenia Networks where he was responsible for the design and implementation of best-of-breed, carrier-class voice networking solutions. During his tenure with Envenia, substantial platform efficiencies were created, reducing costs and increasing operating efficiency while maintaining full compatibility for integration with existing legacy systems.

Mr. Porco’s understanding of network architecture and core infrastructure were used to implement Tier 2 aLEC’s including Carrier communications eventually being sold off to a tier 2 Telco.

Mr. Porco has consulted on various telecommunication projects, lending expertise to the development of SkyVoice, Digital World, Power Telephone, Carrier and Compu-call communication, as well as various internet projects since its rise to prominence in the late 1990’s.

As a technological visionary, Mr. Porco is cited as inventor of several technology related patents, and continues to seek new, more efficient ways to harness technologies in innovative ways.

Mr. Porco is a contributor to select causes including; The Ontario March of Dimes, The Hospital for Sick Children’s Foundation, The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, and the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Don is a strategic generalist with twenty years of experience in sales, marketing, finance, operations, distribution and business development and has been successful in both startup and corporate environments. Don owns and operates a wireless consulting business, specializing in strategic consulting to senior wireless executives, which takes full advantage of his business skills and excellent relationships with executive level contacts in the North American wireless market and key global carrier contact access.
