The booming mobile advertising industry is rapidly evolving from its initial experimental phase based on SMS, text and WAP ads to a full-screen, non-disruptive, visually engaging user experience which is consistent with premium brands.
MyScreen has pioneered this evolution, launching its first end-of-call ad platform in August 2009. Since then we have learned from our users, mobile operator partners and advertisers that leading platforms must create value for consumers and for advertisers with global and local brands. This is exactly the approach that we have developed in the seven operational launches to date and the premise behind Orascom Telecom's original investment in 2008.
MyScreen has optimized its processes to consolidate our operations and is poised for the next phase of its development. Recent and upcoming launches in Guatemala and in Canada illustrate our objective of opening two markets each quarter.
We will continue to work towards our ultimate objective of global reach and connectivity of mobile subscribers through value added mobile advertising solutions.
