Frequently Asked Questions
Is MyScreen™
FREE to use?
MyScreen is a free service. (Please note that carrier data charges
may apply; please ensure that your carrier is a MyScreen partner
prior to opting in to the service.) MyScreen™ is a free rewards
program that allows you to accumulate rewards over time and then
redeem them for operator air time or data services. In the future,
you will be able to transfer earned rewards including but not limited to, third-party loyalty
cards, prepaid credit cards, gift cards or your favorite social
cause.
How does MyScreen™ work?
You simply opt-in to MyScreen™ and setup your accounts. You complete
your profile information and begin to receive ads on your mobile
phones. You are in control of the types of ads you receive, and the frequency at which you recieve ads. As you begin to enjoy the MyScreen™ experience, you
will always have total control over which type of ads you receive
based on your demographic and lifestyle interests. After entering
your details, you will be asked to download a small MyScreen™
application to your Smartphone handset which allows mobile advertisements
to be delivered to your Smartphone handset in a transparent, non-invasive
manner. Mobile advertisements relevant to your interests will be
displayed at the end of each call in a full screen, visually rich
format that matches your handset’s exact screen dimensions.
As you view each relevant mobile advertisement, you will earn valuable
rewards which you can redeem with your mobile operator. In the future,
you will be able to transfer earned rewards to third-party loyalty
cards, prepaid credit cards, gift cards or you will even be able
to donate to your favorite social cause.
Beyond full-screen, visually rich static advertisements, you will
also receive hot-key enabled advertisements which allow you to respond
to the advertiser with one click to either visit a special mobile
website on your Smartphone for a special promotion or call the advertiser’s
hot-line to hear about exciting new offers. Earning rewards was
never so much fun

What is an APN (Access
Point Name Setting) Setting?
An Access Point Name (APN) is the name of an access
point for GPRS (data) networks. In order to use MyScreen™
on your mobile handset, your APN setting must be configured properly
with your mobile operator. Generally, any mobile handset that is
purchased directly from the mobile operator will have this setting
pre-configured already. But this is not always the case.
In some cases, the APN setting is not configured with the mobile
handset; especially, if your mobile handset was acquired from a
another jurisdiction as an unlocked unit for GSM/GPRS networks.
An access point is:
-An Internet network to which a mobile handset can connect to
-A set of settings which are used for that connection
-A particular option in a set of settings for the mobile handset
An access point name (APN) may look something like this:
APN: internet.com
Username: (blank)
Password: (blank)
However, APN settings do vary by mobile operator. If you search
for your mobile operator’s APN settings with the following
search string “mobile operator name + apn settings”,
you should not have any difficulty finding the exact settings for
your specific mobile operator. If this fails, you may contact the
mobile operator directly for this information.
To enter the APN settings, please refer to your mobile handset user
manual for details or the device manufacturer’s website for
online help.
